**13-Week Contract | Day Shift | 36 Hours/Week**

We’re hiring a **PACU Registered Nurse** for a travel assignment in Washington!

🔹 **Requirements:**
• Active **Washington State RN License**
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• **Minimum 3 year of RN experience**
• Acute-care RN experience preferred
• Current **BLS/HCP certification**
• **ACLS required within 6 months of hire**
• **PALS or PEARS required within 6 months of hire**
• CPAN certification preferred
• Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and crisis-management skills
• Ability to care for patients across the age continuum
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced acute-care environment

🔹 **Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• **Day shift**
• **36 hours/week**
• 12-hour shifts may be required
• No holiday coverage required
• **1 position available**
• No guaranteed hours beyond the stated schedule
• On-call required — **$7/hour pager rate**
• Up to **24 hours of facility call-off** may occur during the assignment
• Facility may cancel up to **2 shifts/month or 6 shifts during the 13-week assignment**
• W-2 employment only

🔹 **PACU Responsibilities:**
• Assess and monitor patients throughout the post-anesthesia recovery process
• Monitor physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status
• Identify changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
• Implement individualized nursing care plans
• Provide post-operative patient care and monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice
• Manage lines, tubes, equipment, and invasive devices
• Perform and respond to emergency interventions, including CPR
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate electronic and/or paper documentation
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Delegate and supervise appropriate patient-care activities
• Demonstrate strong prioritization and clinical decision-making
• Maintain infection-control and patient-safety standards
• May function as Charge Nurse when assigned
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement
