**Travel Med-Surg RN – Oregon**

**13-Week Contract | Nights | 36 Hours/Week**

We’re hiring an experienced **Med-Surg Registered Nurse** for a travel assignment in Oregon!

🔹 **Requirements:**
• **Minimum 3 year of Med-Surg RN experience required**
• Active, unencumbered **Oregon RN License**
• Current **AHA BLS**
• **NIHSS certification required**
• Acute-care adult Med-Surg experience
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to care for acutely ill adult medical and surgical patients
• Medical-Surgical specialty certification strongly encouraged
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

🔹 **Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• **Night shift: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM**
• 12-hour shifts
• **36 hours/week**
• Rotating weekends
• Holiday coverage required
• **EPIC EMR**
• **1 position available**
• On-call/pager requirement
• W-2 employment only

🔹 **Unit & Patient Care:**
• Adult Medical-Surgical unit
• Care for acutely ill adult patients
• Emergent and elective surgical patients
• Comprehensive inpatient nursing care
• Collaborative RN and Nurse Assistant team
• Focus on high-quality, patient-centered care

🔹 **Key Responsibilities:**
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Provide care to medical and surgical patients
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
• Monitor patient status and recognize changes in condition
• Apply appropriate interventions and escalate concerns promptly
• Manage post-operative and acute-care patients
• Provide patient and family education
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Prioritize care based on acuity and clinical needs
• Support quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain professional standards and compassionate patient care
