⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mother Baby / Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night-shift assignment. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team while providing comprehensive care and education to patients and families.

Key Requirements
Current Montana RN License
Minimum 3 years of experience as a L&D RN
Current AHA BLS
NRP certification required
STABLE certification required
Must be competent and willing to practice modified primary nursing
Must be able to work in a busy and stressful environment
Must be available for varied shifts, weekends, and after-hours needs as required
Must live at least 90 miles from the facility — candidates within 90 miles will not be considered
Preferred / Clinical Experience
L&D experience preferred, including:
Antepartum
Intrapartum
Pre-op
Circulating
PACU
Ability to catch/transition nurse
Ability to function as a Charge Nurse
Willingness to float to other departments as a safety companion
High-neurological/stroke competency and related education may be required per facility standards
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
Provide patient and family education
Recognize and report changes in patient condition
Promote patient safety and a healthy environment
Maintain accurate patient records
Collaborate with patients, families, peers, and multidisciplinary teams
Apply current nursing standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines
Participate in continuing education and professional development
Integrate ethical and evidence-based practices into nursing care
