Travel Occupational Therapist – Inpatient / Long-Term Care | North Dakota
Fargo, ND
13-Week Contract | Day Shift | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week
We’re hiring an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel assignment providing rehabilitation services across inpatient and long-term care settings in North Dakota!
🔹 Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of Occupational Therapy experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active North Dakota OT License
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills
• Experience providing therapy in inpatient and/or long-term care settings
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong patient-care and rehabilitation skills
• Ability to manage multiple patient needs in a professional healthcare environment
🔹 Assignment Details:
• 13-week contract
• Day shift
• 36 guaranteed hours/week
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• 1 position available
• No holiday coverage required
• No on-call
• W-2 employment only
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and rehabilitation needs
• Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions based on patient goals
• Assist patients with improving mobility, strength, coordination, and independence
• Provide training in activities of daily living and functional tasks
• Recommend appropriate adaptive equipment and therapeutic strategies
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, CNAs, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Promote patient safety and independence throughout the rehabilitation process
• Follow facility policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
