Travel RN – Med-Surg / ED | Colorado
**13-Week Contract | Night Shift | 36 Guaranteed Hours | Quick Start**

### Position Details
* **Location:** Meeker, Colorado
* **Start:** ASAP / Quick Start
* **Contract:** 13 weeks
* **Shift:** Nights
* **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours/week
* **Patient Ratio:** 1:5
* **Holiday Coverage:** Required — no holiday RTO
* **EMR:** Meditech

### Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult acute-care patients in a Med-Surg/ED setting
* Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized plans of care
* Monitor patient conditions and promptly recognize changes in clinical status
* Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to orders and protocols
* Care for **spine and orthopedic post-operative patients**
* Manage patients with medical-surgical and emergency care needs
* Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Provide patient education and discharge planning
* Maintain safe patient ratios and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

### Requirements
* **Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license** required
* Minimum **4 years of Med-Surg / ED experience**
* Strong **Med-Surg experience** required
* **Spine/Ortho post-op patient experience required**
* ED/acute-care experience preferred
* Current **ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC** certifications
* Ability to work night shifts and holidays
* COVID vaccination required per applicable state mandate
* Must live **at least 65 miles from the facility** — local travelers will not be considered
