🏥 Travel RN – Renal Med-Surg / Telemetry

📍 Location: Zanesville, Ohio
📅 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🌙 Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
⏰ Hours: 36 Hours/Week
📆 Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

We're seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Zanesville, OH. This position is on a Renal/Medical-Surgical unit caring for patients with acute and chronic kidney conditions, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical diagnoses.

✅ Requirements

👩‍⚕️ Active Ohio RN License required
🏥 Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg & Telemetry experience
🩺 Renal experience strongly preferred
📊 Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
❤️ Current BLS Certification
💻 Epic proficiency is mandatory — must be clearly documented on resume/submission
🧠 Strong critical-thinking and independent clinical decision-making skills
📝 Competency test required on Day 1

🏥 Key Responsibilities

✔️ Provide comprehensive care to adult renal and Med-Surg patients
✔️ Manage acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis patients
✔️ Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry
✔️ Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams
✔️ Float as needed to similar units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED Boarders
