CloudInfra IT is seeking an experienced **Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist** with a strong **Microbiology** background to join a leading healthcare organization in Dover, DE.

### Position Highlights:

✅ Lead day-to-day operations within the Microbiology Laboratory
✅ Serve as a technical resource and assist with laboratory management activities
✅ Coordinate staffing, training, competency assessments, and quality initiatives
✅ Oversee QC programs, proficiency testing, instrument maintenance, and regulatory compliance
✅ Participate in process improvement and laboratory performance initiatives
✅ Act as supervisor in the absence of laboratory leadership

### Required Qualifications:

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
✔ **ASCP Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)**
✔ Strong **Microbiology experience** required
✔ Minimum **3 years of experience** in a high-complexity laboratory environment
✔ Leadership, quality assurance, and laboratory operations experience preferred

### Preferred Qualifications:

✔ 5+ years of laboratory experience
✔ Additional specialty certifications
✔ Previous lead or supervisory experience
