# 🏥 Travel RN – Med/Surg | Idaho
**8-Week Contract | Night Shift | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week**

📍 **Location:** Salmon, Idaho

🕐 **Shift:** Nights, 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM
⏱️ **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours/week

### Requirements
* Active Idaho RN License or approved Compact RN License
* 3 years experience & Graduate of an approved nursing program
* **BLS, ACLS & PALS** required
* Medical-Surgical experience preferred
* Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
* Ability to prioritize care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
* Comfortable working weekends and rotating shifts as needed

### Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
* Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy
* Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress
* Assist with post-operative recovery and acute/chronic care
* Educate patients and families on treatment, medications, and discharge planning
* Maintain accurate EMR documentation
* Delegate and oversee appropriate tasks for support staff
* Respond to emergencies and communicate changes promptly
* Mentor and support new nursing staff

### Assignment Details
* 8-week contract
* Night shift, 5 PM–5:30 AM
* 36 guaranteed hours/week
* Up to **36 hours of facility call-off** may occur during the 13-week assignment terms listed in the job notes; however, this specific order is listed as an **8-week contract**
* **120-mile radius rule — no local candidates**
* W-2 employment; 1099 not accepted
* No holiday coverage required
