🏥 Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

📍 Location: Gardner, Massachusetts
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
☀️ Schedule: 4 × 10-Hour Day Shifts | 40 Hours/Week + Call Rotation
⏱️ Hours: 40
💻 EMR: Meditech

We’re seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment, managing competing priorities, and collaborating closely with the perioperative team.

✅ Requirements
Active Massachusetts RN License
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current AHA BLS
AHA ACLS upon hire, or active BLS with ACLS obtained within 60 days
CNOR preferred
Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills
Ability to function effectively in a high-pressure environment
🩺 Perioperative Experience
Circulating experience preferred
Maintaining sterile fields and aseptic technique
Surgical instrument, sponge, and needle counts
Patient positioning and safe transfers
Surgical specimen and culture handling
Preoperative patient identification and procedure/site verification
Collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians
