Description

❤️ Travel ICU / CCU Registered Nurse (RN)

📍 Location: Arcata, California
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
☀️ Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
⏱️ Hours: 36 Hours/Week
💻 EMR: CPSI/Evident

We’re seeking an experienced ICU/CCU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-acuity critical care in an acute hospital setting. The RN may occasionally float to assist with breaks and provide coverage in other qualified areas.

✅ Requirements
Active California RN License
Minimum 3 years of ICU / Critical Care nursing experience
BLS certification
ACLS certification
PALS certification
Current negative TB screening within 12 months of the contract start date
Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and emergency response skills

🫀 ICU / Critical Care Experience
High-acuity critical care nursing
Continuous patient assessment and monitoring
Medication and treatment administration
Recognition and response to changes in patient condition
Collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Safe, patient-centered critical care delivery

📌 Assignment Highlights
36 hours per week
12-hour day shifts
Occasional floating to qualified areas for break coverage and assistance
Holiday coverage required
Pager/on-call may be required
