📍 Location: Gunnison, Colorado
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
☀️ Shift: Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Rotating Weekends
⏱️ Hours: 36 Hours/Week

We’re seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have strong newborn/NICU and acute respiratory care experience and be comfortable caring for adult, pediatric, and newborn patients.

✅ Requirements
Active Colorado Respiratory Care License
RRT credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Minimum 5 years of newborn/NICU experience
Minimum 3 years of acute Respiratory Care experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
AARC membership preferred/required per facility requirements
Reliable transportation required due to limited public transportation in the area
Successful completion of required Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check

🫁 Respiratory Care Clinical Experience
Adult, pediatric, and newborn respiratory care
General inpatient respiratory care
Emergency and trauma stabilization/treatment
Newborn stabilization
Cardiopulmonary diagnostics
Pulmonary function testing
Respiratory therapy modalities and equipment
Pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation experience preferred
Patient and community education
Orientation and training of new clinical staff

📌 Assignment Highlights
36 hours per week
12-hour day shifts with early shifts starting around 6:00 AM
Approximately 2 on-call shifts per week
Rotating weekends
Holiday coverage required
Level IV Trauma facility
