🫁 Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights

📍 Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
🌙 Shift: Nights
⏱️ Hours: 36 Hours/week

We're seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment providing respiratory care to patients with a wide range of cardiopulmonary needs. Candidates must have both NICU and Emergency Department experience.

✅ Requirements
Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy License
Minimum 3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
NICU experience required
Emergency Department (ED) experience required
Current RRT Credential
Current BLS/BCLS Certification
Strong critical-care and emergency respiratory care skills
Experience managing mechanical ventilation and respiratory emergencies

🫁 Clinical Experience
Assess patients experiencing respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
Perform respiratory assessments, lung capacity testing, and other diagnostic evaluations
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
Set up, manage, and monitor mechanical ventilators
Provide emergency respiratory care, including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and CPR
Provide respiratory care to NICU and Emergency Department patients
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams regarding respiratory treatment plans
Monitor patient response to respiratory therapies and adjust care as appropriate
Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory conditions and home equipment
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Assist with discharge planning and continuity of respiratory care
