🩻 Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

📍 Location: Hermiston, Oregon
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
☀️ Shift: Days | 5 × 8-Hour Shifts
⏱️ Hours: 40 Hours/Week

We're seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment supporting invasive interventional procedures, including angiography, embolization, cardiac catheterization, and other minimally invasive interventions.

✅ Requirements
Active Oregon RN License
Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab RN experience
Current BLS/BCLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Experience in critical care, Emergency Department, Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology
Conscious sedation experience preferred
Hemodynamic/monitor role experience preferred
RCIS and/or NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
IV certification preferred
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and interventional procedures

🩺 Clinical Experience
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional procedures
Administer medications including anticoagulants, vasoactive agents, contrast, and emergency medications
Assist with angiography, embolization, cardiac catheterization, and other interventional procedures
Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedure setup
Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation, including vital signs, hemodynamics, oxygenation, ventilation, and level of consciousness
Respond rapidly to complications such as arrhythmias, bleeding, contrast reactions, stroke alerts, and cardiac arrest
Assess and communicate contrast allergies and sensitivities with the procedural team
Assist with patient preparation, positioning, monitoring, and procedure verification
Perform sheath pulls and vascular access management as needed
Scrub for procedures when assigned, including preparation of sterile instruments, guidewires, catheters, sheaths, and procedural supplies
Monitor and document hemodynamic data, procedural events, medications, implants, and contrast usage
Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, and interdisciplinary team members
Support room turnover, supply management, equipment readiness, and infection-control procedures

Pager/on-call coverage may be required
