Description

🏥 Travel CPCU/Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights

📍 Location: Bangor, Maine
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
🌙 Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
⏱️ Hours: 36 Hours/Week
💻 EMR: EPIC

We're seeking an experienced CPCU/Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical and cardiac/telemetry patients while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

✅ Requirements
Active Maine RN License
Minimum 3 years of CPCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry RN experience
Current BLS/BCLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification within 30 days of hire
Strong telemetry and cardiac nursing experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
MOAB or CPI certification preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask and work flexible hours

🩺 Clinical Experience
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult CPCU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry patients
Perform patient assessments and monitor for changes in cardiac and clinical status
Provide telemetry monitoring and recognize dysrhythmias and other changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Provide patient and family education
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EPIC
Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, and Maine Board of Nursing requirements
Demonstrate effective prioritization and multitasking in a fast-paced acute-care environment

Pager/on-call coverage may be required
Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
