🏥 **Travel Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy | Hilo, HI**

📍 **Location:** Hilo, Hawaii
⏳ **Contract:** 15 weeks
🕐 **Shift:** Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
📆 **Schedule:** 3×12s | 36 hrs/week

🚨 **No guaranteed hours**

### **Job Requirements**
- Minimum **3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience**
- **No first-time travelers/first assignments**
- Current **Hawaii Respiratory Therapist license** required by start date
- Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply immediately upon accepting the offer
- **RRT** certification required
- **BLS, ACLS, and PALS** required
- **NRP preferred**
- Must be experienced caring for **adult, pediatric, and neonatal** patients
- Strong experience with airway management and respiratory care
- Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management experience required
- Experience with CPR and comprehensive respiratory care procedures
- Comfortable with physician consultation and multidisciplinary collaboration

### **Equipment**
- PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators
- V60
- Para Pac transport ventilator
- Pyxis medication management
- Computerized charting

### **Important Travel Details**
- **Traveler must arrive Thursday before the Monday start date** for the required employee health appointment on Friday
- Do not accept the assignment if the traveler cannot arrive on time
- Holiday coverage required
- No on-call requirement
- **W-2 only; 1099 not accepted**
- Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption required before contract start
