🏃 Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient

📍 Location: Alturas, California
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
☀️ Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
⏱️ Hours: 40 Hours/Week

We're seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week travel assignment in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. The Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive evaluations and treatments, develop individualized plans of care, and collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.

✅ Requirements
Active California Physical Therapist License
Minimum 3 years of Physical Therapy experience
Outpatient Physical Therapy experience
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current BLS/BCLS Certification
Knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
Strong patient assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

🩺 Clinical Experience
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and reassessments
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans of care
Administer prescribed physical therapy modalities and treatments
Assess treatment effectiveness and recommend modifications when appropriate
Evaluate pain and functional limitations affecting rehabilitation
Provide patient and family education based on identified learning needs
Monitor patient progress and communicate relevant findings to physicians and healthcare teams
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Operate and maintain physical therapy equipment safely
Follow infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards
Provide age-appropriate care across the patient population
Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement activities
Collaborate with other departments to support coordinated patient care
