🩻 Travel Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) – Weekend Shift

📍 Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska
📅 Contract: 8 Weeks
📅 Shift: Weekend Shift
⏱️ Hours: 40 Hours/Week
💻 EMR: EPIC

We're seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) for a quick-start travel assignment. The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while maintaining high standards of patient safety, imaging quality, and radiation protection.

✅ Requirements
Active Nebraska Medical Radiographer License
Minimum 3 years of Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray experience
ARRT(R) Certification required
Current BLS Certification
Experience performing diagnostic X-ray procedures
CT experience preferred
ARRT CT Certification preferred
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment

🩻 Clinical Experience
Perform diagnostic X-ray/radiographic examinations according to established protocols
Position patients appropriately and ensure accurate imaging
Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively
Apply radiation safety principles and appropriate protection techniques
Verify patient identity, orders, and examination requirements
Evaluate images for technical quality and repeat studies when necessary
Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and departmental standards
Utilize EPIC for appropriate clinical documentation
Provide CT support when qualified and assigned

📌 Assignment Highlights
40 hours per week
Weekend-shift assignment
Holiday coverage required
Pager/on-call coverage may be required
2-hour minimum callback

Travelers are expected to meet established performance and clinical standards throughout the assignment
