Description
📍 Location: Cody, Wyoming
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks
☀️ Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 4 days/week
⏰ Hours: 40 Hours/Week

We're seeking an experienced Perioperative/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. This role provides care across outpatient services, pre-op, post-op, PACU, and procedural sedation, with a focus on safe patient preparation, recovery, education, and discharge.
✅ Requirements
Active Wyoming RN License
Minimum 3 years of Perioperative/PACU or Surgical Services RN experience
Current BLS/BCLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current PALS Certification
TNCC Certification required within 6 months of hire, or as class availability allows
Strong knowledge of perioperative and post-anesthesia nursing principles
Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection-control practices
Ability to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
National perioperative certification preferred
🩺 Clinical Experience
Provide direct pre-op, post-op, PACU, outpatient, and procedural sedation nursing care
Perform focused patient assessments and reassessments
Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms
Recognize arrhythmias and respond using ACLS/PALS protocols and physician orders
Prepare patients for procedures and assist physicians as needed
Administer IV fluids, medications, and treatments within scope of practice
Provide patient and family education, including discharge instructions
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate changes in patient condition
Coordinate patient transfers with other departments and healthcare providers

100-mile radius rule: Travelers must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility
