π₯ **Travel RN β Emergency Department | Zanesville, OH**
π **Location:** Zanesville, Ohio
β³ **Contract:** 13 weeks
π **Shift:** Nights | 7:00 PM β 7:30 AM
π **Schedule:** 36 hours/week guaranteed
π» **EMR:** EPIC
π¨ **Trauma Level:** Level III
βοΈ **Call:** Not expected; rare requests only
π **Holiday:** Required
π **Weekend:** Every other weekend required
### π©Ί **Position Overview**
Seeking an experienced **Emergency Department Registered Nurse** for a busy Level III Trauma Center ED with **38 beds and 2 trauma bays**. The department is among the busiest emergency departments in Ohio.
### β **Requirements**
- **3+ years of current/recent ED RN experience OR at least 3 completed ED travel assignments**
- **Active Ohio RN license or eligible compact RN license**
- **BLS/BCLS required**
- **ACLS required**
- **PALS required**
- **TNCC strongly **
- **ENPC strongly **
- **EPIC EMR experience is REQUIRED**
- Strong emergency/trauma nursing experience
- Must be comfortable working night shifts
- Every other weekend availability required
- Holiday rotation required
### πΌ **Key Responsibilities**
- Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing reassessments
- Manage patients with medical, surgical, and trauma-related emergencies
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions
- Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes
- Assist with trauma and resuscitation cases
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in **EPIC**
- Follow emergency department protocols and patient-safety standards
- Provide patient and family education and support
### π **Important Assignment Details**
- 36 hours/week
- Night shift: **7:00 PMβ7:30 AM**
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation required
- Excessive holiday RTO will not be approved
- **All RTO must be disclosed at submission**
- RTO must match the final confirmation exactly
- Facility may cancel up to **36 hours during the 13-week contract**
- Overtime begins after 40 hours/week
- No 1099
- No mileage reimbursement
- No facility-provided incidentals
- Traveler is responsible for transportation and housing arrangements
