🏃 Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient/Inpatient/SNF

📍 Location: Alturas, California
📅 Contract: 9 Weeks
☀️ Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
⏱️ Hours: 40 Hours/Week
🏥 Settings: Outpatient, Inpatient & Skilled Nursing Facility

We're seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a 9-week travel assignment providing rehabilitation services across outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing settings. The PT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and support department operations and quality improvement.

✅ Requirements
Active California Physical Therapist License
Minimum 3 years of Physical Therapy experience
Experience in Outpatient, Inpatient, and/or Skilled Nursing settings
Current BLS/BCLS Certification
Strong knowledge of physical therapy modalities, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

🩺 Clinical Experience
Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments
Develop and implement individualized plans of care
Provide therapeutic interventions and physical therapy modalities
Evaluate treatment effectiveness and recommend modifications when appropriate
Assess pain and functional limitations affecting rehabilitation participation
Provide patient and family education based on identified learning needs
Coordinate patient care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Promote patient safety and infection-control practices
Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
