Location: Cedar Ridge Center, Maine
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Specialty: Hospice Care
Contract Length: 14 Weeks (06/08/2026 – 09/07/2026)
Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Hospice Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered end-of-life care. Responsibilities
Provide compassionate hospice and palliative nursing care to patients in accordance with established care plans.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and family members regarding disease processes, symptom management, and end-of-life care.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
Advocate for patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Minimum Qualifications

✅ Active Maine (ME) RN or LPN License (Required)
✅ Minimum 3 years of recent nursing experience (Required)
✅ Previous Hospice, Palliative Care, Home Health, Long-Term Care, or Acute Care experience preferred
✅ Current BLS Certification
✅ Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
