Job Summary (Speech-Language Pathologist – School Year 2026-27, Burlington, NC area)

- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Burlington, NC area (onsite, hybrid, or remote options)
- Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours/week, School year August 18, 2026 – June 10, 2027 (start ASAP)
- Student Population: Children K-12; caseload and duties based on experience and preferences
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to children in a school-based/pediatric setting
- Conduct evaluations and develop/implement treatment plans
- Collaborate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, staff, families)
- Utilize EMR/IEP online documentation systems for progress tracking and compliance
- Desired Experience/Skills:
- Experience/fieldwork in pediatrics or school-based therapy preferred
- Proficiency in working with children in therapeutic settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with EMR or IEP documentation systems
- New graduates welcome
- Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or equivalent
- Current NC license or eligibility; out-of-state candidates accepted with license application
- Compensation:
- $57-$62/hour, based on experience
- Tax-free per diem stipends available for qualifying candidates
