Description
- Position: Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Junior high school, 20 minutes north of Garland, TX
- Assignment Duration: Late September through end of school year
- Work Schedule: Full-time, five days a week
- Caseload: 77 students (67 direct, 10 indirect)
- Pay Rate: $60-68 per hour
- Student Population: Junior high students
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to assigned students
- Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary team on evaluations and treatment plans
- Complete documentation using EMR/IEP online systems
- Support students with a variety of speech therapy needs
- Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
- Valid TX SLP license
- SLP-CCC preferred
- School or pediatric therapy experience preferred (fieldwork or previous employment)
- New graduates welcome
- Desired Skills:
- Experience in pediatric or school-based therapy
- Ability to work with children in a therapeutic setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with EMR or IEP online documentation systems
