Some of the Center’s highlights include a five-story 3D IMAX theater, flight simulators, a lunar lander and a three-billion-year-old moon rock. Discover Hampton's earliest history at the Hampton History Museum with exhibits on the early colonists, Native Americans, the infamous pirate Blackbeard and the Civil War. The historic downtown district offers a plethora of art galleries, independent bookstores, gourmet food and wine shops, clothing retailers, cafes and restaurants.
