A Day in the Life of a ESS Clinical School Psychologist
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students across grade levels
- Work closely with teachers, families, and school teams to develop effective strategies
- Provide recommendations that directly influence Individualized Education Plans
- Offer individual and group counseling to support emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs
- Help students strengthen social, emotional, and academic skills
- Serve as an advocate for students who need support the most

What You Bring to the Role
- A master's degree in School Psychology
- Experience working with children or pediatric populations
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and also thrive within a collaborative team setting
- A valid School Psychologist license
- A passion for helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential

For over 45 years, PSI has been a pioneering force in Educational Support Services and School Health Programs throughout Ohio. Our journey began when a visionary administrator of the Cleveland Diocesan Schools joined forces with a group of innovative school psychologists from Kent State University. Since then, PSI evolved into a comprehensive provider partnering with over 500 schools in the State of Ohio.
In late 2023, PSI forged a transformative partnership with ESS, further expanding our reach to meet the evolving needs of students nationwide. Through our ESS partnership, PSI and ESS Clinical have joined forces to serve students in public, private, and charter schools.
