We are actively seeking motivated and dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teachers to empower and inspire students with diverse learning needs. As part of our team, you'll provide personalized instruction, support individualized education plans, and foster a nurturing learning environment to help every student thrive.
Requirements:
- Valid Delaware Teaching License for Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Experience with itinerant teaching models preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Deaf culture, communication modes, and educational strategies.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple school site schedules effectively.

Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across preschool to high school levels.
- Collaborate with staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilize effective communication methods and assistive technologies to foster student engagement and learning.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Provide advocacy and support services to enhance students' academic and social development.
