ESS Clinical is actively seeking motivated and dedicated Special Education Teachers for Jefferson County School Systems, Alabama to empower and inspire students with diverse learning needs. As part of our team, you'll provide personalized instruction, support individualized education plans, and foster a nurturing learning environment to help every student thrive.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Valid license as a Special Education Teacher
  • Experience working as a Special Education Teachr preferred but not required
  • Requirement of Certification in NCI

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, tailored to their unique learning styles and abilities.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in various academic subjects, social skills, and life skills, adapting teaching strategies to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress, adjust instructional approaches, and ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
