Description
ESS Clinical is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students within the Washington Elementary School District in AZ for the 2026–2027 school year!
W2 Contracts and 1099 available!
W2 starting at $76/hr and 1099 starting at $85/hr
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Document student progress and maintain accurate service records
- Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and assistive technology when appropriate
- Support students with:
- Fine motor development
- Sensory processing needs
- Self-help and daily living skills
- Visual-motor integration
- Handwriting and classroom participation skills
- Provide consultation and training to educational staff and families
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, district, and ESS Clinical requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education procedures
- Experience working with students with autism, developmental delays, orthopedic impairments, and sensory processing needs
- Experience utilizing assistive technology and adaptive equipment
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist License issued by the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
- NBCOT Certification preferred and/or maintained as applicable for professional credentialing
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Ability to satisfy all ESS Clinical and Washington Elementary School District onboarding requirements
