Description
ESS Clinical is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Special Education Teacher to provide leave coverage for Reynolds School District during the 2026–2027 school year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Special Education Teacher who is passionate about helping students with disabilities reach their academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional goals while providing continuity of instruction and support during a staff member's leave.
Pay starting at $57/hr up to $64/hr
Choice between W2 or 1099 opportunities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Completion of an approved teacher preparation program.
- Active Oregon TSPC teaching license.
- Special Education: Generalist endorsement required.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, IEP development, and progress monitoring.
- Strong classroom-management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students with a variety of disabilities and educational needs.
- Successful completion of required background and fingerprint screening.
- Successful completion of all ESS Clinical and Reynolds School District onboarding requirements.
Oregon Licensure
Required: Current Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) teaching license with the appropriate special education authorization.
Special Education: Generalist – PreK–12 endorsement is required for the standard Special Education Teacher assignment.
Out-of-state licensed teachers may be eligible to obtain an Oregon Reciprocal Teaching License through TSPC. Candidates must obtain the appropriate Oregon authorization before beginning a certified teaching assignment unless another applicable TSPC authorization is available.
Emergency Teaching Licenses are not accepted for the Special Education: Generalist endorsement.
