ESS Clinical is seeking a qualified and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide school-based behavioral services within DeKalb County School District for the 2026–2027 school year.

The BCBA will support students with behavioral, social-emotional, developmental, and educational needs through evidence-based behavioral assessment and intervention. The BCBA will collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, administrators, related-service providers, families, and IEP teams to develop and implement individualized behavioral supports that promote student success and access to education.

This position is ideal for a BCBA who enjoys working in a collaborative school environment and is committed to data-driven, student-centered behavioral services.

Pay starting at $108.00/hr up to 118.00/hr
W-2 & 1099 opportunities.
 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Provide evidence-based behavioral interventions and support students' behavioral and educational goals.
• Collect, analyze, and document behavioral data and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and IEP teams.
• Provide consultation, training, and coaching to school staff on behavioral strategies.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with BACB, Georgia, ESS Clinical, and district requirements.
• Support positive, inclusive, and safe learning environments.
• Follow all applicable ethical, confidentiality, and school-district policies.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a closely related field that satisfies BCBA certification requirements.

• Degree and coursework must meet current Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) eligibility requirements.

The BACB's current BCBA eligibility pathways require a master's degree or higher together with qualifying behavior-analytic education and practical fieldwork.

Professional Certification

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required.

• Certification must remain active throughout the assignment.

• Candidate must comply with current BACB continuing-education and renewal requirements.

Georgia State Licensure

A BCBA practicing behavior analysis in Georgia must meet the requirements for Georgia Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) licensure.
