Description
Work Environment
- ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Air Conditioned Room
- PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Dosimeter Ring and badge
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Close visual attention and acuity is required. Intermittent standing and Walking. Some patient lifting/moving may be required as well as patient transport.

- Clinical – Access to patient information that is not restricted (an example of restricted information is ARU) – Level 3

Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Graduation from an accredited school with a degree in MRI Technology and
- Experience in the intravenous administration of conventional MR contrast, supervised by a qualified physician or a qualified technologist.

License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registered as an MRI Technologist within 12 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience.
- NYS license to perform Radiologic examinations.
- Maintain BLS certification and be capable of using an AED. Maintain CE requirements as applicable.
