Description
Work Environment
- Work is performed in an office environment that requires working in proximity to other
- employees and patients.
- The office is air conditioned as well as heated.
- Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
- Fast-paced environment including frequent interruptions.
- Frequent sitting, walking, standing and bending.
- Possibility of lifting of patients.
- Mobility may include access through a multi-level facility, including climbing stairs.
- PPE- Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, Gloves per UHS Infection Control and CDC guidelines when appropriate.

HIPAA Roles-Based Access to Patient Information
- Clinical – Access to patient information that is not restricted (an example of restricted information is ARU) – Level 3
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
- At least 1 year experience in health care setting with evidence of having obtained proficiency in those areas emphasized in the Registered Nurse curriculum.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a walk in / primary care/ specialty care setting.
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current NY State RN license.
- Documentation of current CPR certification required within 1 week of start of employment.
Preferred:
- Current drivers license
