Work Environment

• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequently twists, stoops, squats, bends, climbs stairs, and reaches above, at, or below shoulder height. Safely lifts and transfers residents weighing an average of 150 pounds, with or without assistance, and pushes residents in wheelchairs weighing up to 250 pounds approximately 150 feet, on occasional basis. Must access several floors frequently by stairs or elevator. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:Per standard precautions; gloves and gowns.

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age

• Resident Medication Assistant training within 2 months of hire
• Basic first aid certification within 3 months of hire

Under supervision, to provide each ACF and ALP resident with supervision and assistance in daily living activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and objectives of UHS Senior Living at Ideal and Department of Health regulations.
