Director of Perioperative Services
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Perioperative Services to lead and shape the future of surgical care. This role oversees a team of skilled professionals across OR, SDS, PACU, Endoscopy, PAT, and Sterile Processing.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Visionary: Develop and implement a strategic plan for Perioperative Services, driving innovation, growth, and continuous improvement. Analyze data, leverage technology, and collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize processes and enhance patient outcomes.
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations of surgical services, ensuring efficient resource allocation, regulatory compliance, and adherence to standards (DOH, JCAHO, AORN, APSAN).
Collaborative Leadership: Foster a positive work environment, empower your team to reach their full potential, and build strong relationships with surgeons, physicians, and administrative staff to promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
Quality Champion: Promote a culture of safety and quality by implementing initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction and optimize clinical outcomes. Participate in shared governance and patient safety programs.
Change Agent: Lead your team through organizational change, effectively communicating objectives, and fostering a culture of adaptability and innovation.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
CNOR certification preferred or must obtain within 6 months.
Minimum 2 years of progressive healthcare administration experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
Minimum 5 years of varied and progressive management experience in perioperative services.
Experience in staffing, budgeting, and financial management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other relevant software.
