Description
CPR+/CareTend Knowledge preferred - CPhT Preferred RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Communicate verbally via telephone, to the patient and/or caregivers and health care providers
and nursing agencies.
2. Review charts and insurance approval to schedule nursing and delivery.
3. Confirm and document the delivery address that the patient and/or healthcare provider has
provided to ensure that the correct address is chosen & displayed in patient’s order.
4. Monitor work list and contact patients according to need by date, priority status and follow up
date to set up order and arrange delivery to assure patient receives mediation in a timely
manner including setting up follow-up activities accordingly.
5. Follow procedures to ensure that the medication order is set up for the right patients to receive
the correct medication, to the correct address with the correct time frame.
6. Receive inbound and make outbound telephone calls.
7. Adhere to BioTek Policies and Procedures.
8. On call availability to be liaison between Pharmacy and offices and/or patients.
9. Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
