About the Role
PDTX is seeking Travel Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide high-quality speech and language therapy services across various healthcare settings. Travel assignments typically range from 8–13 weeks and may include placements in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), rehabilitation centers, hospitals, home health settings, or outpatient clinics. This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams.
Qualifications
Current California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred (experience in SNF, rehab, or acute care settings is a plus).
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and caregivers to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and California labor and licensing standards.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.

PDTXperts Job ID #PDPB-025. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
