Qualifications
Current, valid license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTD or MOT).
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new grads may be considered for certain assignments).
Ability to travel and adapt to various clinical environments.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and assess functional limitations related to daily living activities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive functioning, coordination, and self-care abilities.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and state standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, home programs, and use of assistive devices.
Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including California labor and licensure standards.
