Description
PDTX is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide evaluation and treatment services focused on improving patients’ independence, functional mobility, and ability to perform activities of daily living. This is an urgent opening for a clinician who is compassionate, clinically strong, and committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. Position will float between Fairland Center and Larkin Chase Center as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders
Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence
Address ADLs including dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PTs, SLPs, nurses, and physicians
Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety strategies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active State Occupational Therapist License
Familiarity with EMR documentation systems
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

PDTXperts Job ID #T-PDPB001. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
