Job Overview

The Mental Health Coordinator will provide clinical mental health services to inmates within the facility. The role includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing counseling, and delivering crisis intervention while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Schedule
8-hour shifts
Day shifts
Weekdays and weekends required
40 hours per week guaranteed
Candidates must have open availability based on the client’s scheduling policy.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and record reviews.
Develop and modify individual treatment plans based on patient needs.
Provide counseling and crisis intervention for inmates.
Document all treatment and evaluation activities in the healthcare records.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Use professional psychological counseling techniques to support assigned caseloads.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in a similar role.
Must hold a valid LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of practice.
Minimum age: 18 years.
Valid driver’s license preferred (may be required depending on the contract).
Clearance Requirements
US Citizenship required for ICE clearance.
Candidates will undergo a thorough background and credit investigation.
ICE clearance process: approximately 4–6 weeks.
Expedited clearance process available for new activations.
Candidates can start work as soon as clearance is approved.
