Psychiatric Master Social Worker (MSW) – Travel Contract | $2,040/Week

**Location:** Pueblo, Colorado
**Start:** ASAP — Orientation dates are the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month
**Contract:** 24 weeks
**Schedule:** 40 hours per week | Days | Onsite

## Compensation & Schedule

- $26 per hour plus $1,000 weekly stipend for eligible travelers
- $2,040 estimated gross weekly compensation based on 40 hours and full stipend eligibility
- Full-time, 24-week contract
- Final shift, unit, schedule, and days off determined by the facility during orientation
- Weekend and holiday assignments may be required

## Position Overview

SpectrumACS, a division of American Correctional Solutions, is seeking experienced Master of Social Work (MSW) professionals for a travel contract at a secure state inpatient psychiatric hospital in Pueblo, Colorado.

This assignment supports adult patients with complex psychiatric and behavioral health needs, including forensic and civil treatment populations. Candidates must be prepared to work in a structured, high-acuity environment where clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and patient safety are essential.

This position requires prior inpatient psychiatric social work experience. It is not intended as an entry-level assignment.

## Responsibilities

- Conduct psychosocial assessments and assist with individualized treatment planning
- Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to assigned responsibilities
- Document patient progress, behavioral observations, and treatment activities
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of resources
- Collaborate with nursing, psychiatric, clinical, and security personnel
- Follow facility safety procedures and trauma-informed care practices

## Requirements

- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited program
- Minimum 12 months of documented inpatient psychiatric social work experience within the last 5 years
- Experience in a psychiatric hospital, state psychiatric hospital, or locked inpatient psychiatric unit
- Ability to work effectively with high-acuity psychiatric patients in a secure environment
- Current AHA BLS certification or ability to obtain it before starting
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must be reviewed and approved by Compliance and the facility before being considered eligible to return
- Ability to meet facility background, drug screening, health screening, and onboarding requirements

## Orientation & Training

- MANDT crisis intervention and safety training provided during facility orientation
- Facility-specific onboarding and training required before assignment
