Start: ASAP
26-Week Contract
Compensation & Schedule
$36 per hour
Shifts would be either
(a) 2pm-10pm (Required to work every other weekend shift)
-OR-
(b) two doubles on the weekend
Weekend and holiday rotation as required
First 5 weeks will require training 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
Shifts are alternating to meet staffing needs. Will be required to work every other weekend.
32 hours per week guaranteed
Position Overview
SpectrumACS is hiring experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) for a 26-week local contract at Lubbock State Supported Living Center in Denton, Texas. This facility provides behavioral health and long-term care services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a structured, team-based environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care within LVN scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient condition and behavioral status
Assist with care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
Support behavioral interventions and safety protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
Active Texas LVN license
1+ years of behavioral health, long-term care, or inpatient experience preferred
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Experience working in state-supported living centers or similar settings preferred
Ability to work assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
