Position Overview
SpectrumACS is hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a 26-week local contract assignment at a correctional facility in Tabor City, North Carolina. This role provides behavioral health and clinical services to incarcerated individuals in a structured correctional environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations
Provide individual and group therapy
Develop and implement treatment plans
Perform crisis intervention and suicide risk assessments
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with medical and custody staff
Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations
Requirements
Active North Carolina LCSW license
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
1+ years of clinical experience in behavioral health, corrections, or inpatient settings preferred
Experience conducting mental health assessments and crisis intervention
Ability to work within a correctional setting
Strong documentation and communication skills
