Description

The ECHO Tech will be responsible for the performance of high quality ultrasound in the areas of Adult Transthoracic, Adult Transesophageal, Adult Stress. The Echo cardiology Sonographer must possess advanced knowledge in Cardiac anatomy, physiology and disease process. Has the ability to analyze image quality and initiate measures and or adapt technical procedure. This position requires working knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipment and the dexterity to operate it. Utilizes the use of an EMR to generate reports. The Cardiac Sonographer reports to the Manager of Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Services and works as a team to support the Cardiology Technical Specialist in areas of accreditation and day to day operations.

Minimum Qualifications: Must have 2 years experience in a hospital setting & RDCS or ACS. Must know EPIC EMR.

AMHS Staffing Alliance Job ID #1017. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 37 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
