Contract Guarantee: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments. These guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked.

Position Details:

• Location: Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NCCU)
• Schedule: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Responsibilities: Scheduling is completed by the nurse manager. Staff are allowed self-scheduling. Coverage includes floating to ICUs, PCU, and MS.
• Patient Population: Neurointensive care including stroke, thrombectomy, EVS, neurosurgical cases, and EVDS.
• Procedures/Protocols: Transports to MRI and CT, arterial lines, venipuncture, EVD placement, post-operative craniotomy care, post-TNK documentation, intubation, extubation, high-flow nasal cannula, EKGs, central line placement, IV placement, post-stroke care including mobilization with Sara combilizer.

Experience and Certifications:

• Experience: Epic experience required
• Licensure: Current MA license required
• Certifications: ACLS/BLS-AHA required

Special Conditions:

• Must be separated from the organization for 6+ months to be considered (perm, per diem, contract).
