Role Description
This position involves working in a dynamic rehab setting with responsibilities primarily in outpatient care, comprising 95% of duties, and some involvement in SNF and acute care settings. Candidates should possess a Minnesota PT License and AHA BLS certification; submissions with a pending license are acceptable. Minnesota is not a PT COMPACT State.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience required outside of clinicals.
- Outpatient experience is essential, with a preference for skills in manual therapy.
- Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and maintain daily documentation is necessary.
- Strong time management skills are required, with the ability to chart after each treatment session.
- Experience with varied patient demographics from pediatric to geriatric populations.
- Knowledge of conditions such as orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, Parkinson's, high school sports injuries, work-related injuries, and sports rehabilitation is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Caseload includes 8-14 patients per day across outpatient, inpatient, swing beds, and care center/nursing home resident care.
- Work alongside skilled Rehab Aides and PTAs with extensive experience.
Work Environment
- The position operates within a small rural hospital setting.
- Interaction with a broad spectrum of conditions and injuries is expected.
Logistics
- Work shifts are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Charting is completed using the MEDITECH system.
- No specific scrub color is required; casual professional attire is acceptable.
Additional Information
- The cancellation policy allows for one shift cancellation per week.
- Trainee supervision or mentor support is not specified.
- The manager is responsible for scheduling.
