COVID-19 Vaccination Required: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination must be uploaded with the profile.
Responsibilities: - Provide care primarily within the Cardiovascular Lab. - Participate in procedures such as peripheral revascularization and various types of catheter placements. - Engage in nephrostomy drainage, gastrostomy, and jejunostomy tube maintenance. - Perform central line placements and assist in pain management interventions. - Conduct paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures. - Administer pre- and post-care for patients undergoing renal, liver, and lung biopsies. - Assist in carotid stenting procedures.
Patient Population: Adolescent to Geriatric
Trauma Level: I
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner and McKesson
Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs
Requirements: - Previous interventional radiology experience. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications. - Active New York RN license. - Experience with adolescent to geriatric populations and procedural sedation, circulation, and recovery phases. - Required to float to the Cardiac Cath Lab. - Prior travel experience is highly preferred.
Submission Requirements: - Work history and skills checklist relevant to the position, current within one year. - One supervisory signed reference from the past two years of employment. - Current New York license and certifications must be uploaded with the profile. The permanent address must be included in the profile and must match the Driver's License/State ID. The address will be validated during the compliance process.
Restrictions: - Travelers from specific counties in New York (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington) will not be considered for assignments.
