Unit Name: Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Brief Unit Description: Post Anesthesia Care, General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Gynecology

Years of Experience Required: 5 years

Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 2 Patients

Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adult, and Geriatric

Bed Count: 34

Census: 30 to 40 patients per day

EMR (Charting System): EPIC

Floating Required: No

Certifications Required: Active MA RN License, AHA ACLS, PALS, and BLS
