Description
- Responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with facility protocols and guidelines.
- Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images and ensure image quality meets standards.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI exams ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Conduct screenings for MRI safety to prevent injury or equipment damage.
- Maintain detailed patient records and document procedure specifics.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and provide assistance as required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues or report them to the necessary department.
- Keep up-to-date with advances in MRI technology and ongoing education.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner hospital is wonderful place to work! The unit is brand new, and the team truly works together and supports one another! and I really appreciate the smooth workflow within the unit.
Cons
The work schedule is great—I really appreciate the flexibility and the variety of shift options available, especially for nurses. Housing can be expensive and sometimes difficult to find. Traffic and commuting can also be hectic at times.
