Submission Guidelines:

• ICU, ER, and MS RNs previously employed or per diem at certain facilities cannot apply, regardless of the time elapsed.
• Healthcare professionals (HCP) must be submitted to one specific need at a time.
• Full SSN, DOB, and RTO must be provided.
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
• No self-scheduling is permitted; scheduling is based on facility needs.
• No block scheduling.
• NYS license required at submission, with screening possible without it.
• At least 1 year of experience in the specialty is necessary unless otherwise specified in position notes.
• Avoid including photo IDs and SSN cards in submission packs.

Orientation and Attire:

• RN/LPN orientations occur bi-weekly. Allied orientations are weekly on Mondays.
• Scrub color and shoe information are detailed separately.
• No artificial or gel nails, and no chipped polish are allowed.

General Information:

• Covid and flu declinations are accepted.
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross can be obtained prior to commencement.
• All compliance documents are due 7 days prior to the start.
• EMR system in use: Cerner.
• All travelers are expected to float to units within their competencies.

Requirements:

• Open heart experience and 2 years in the specialty area required.
• Must submit Circulate and Scrub skills checklist.

Certifications Required:

• BLS certification is mandatory.
