Short Description:
- Full-time evening supervisor position.
- Requires working every other weekend and holidays.
- Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care and supervisory experience across multiple units.

Certifications Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI).
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification within 90 days of the hire date.

Job Functions:
- Oversees the operation of nursing units, providing clinical supervision to staff.
- Ensures quality resident care through mentoring and supervision.
- Communicates with the Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager about unit issues and collaborates to resolve them.
- Makes administrative decisions during the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator.

- Effective collaboration with medical staff, department managers, and customers.
- Professionalism in managing stressful situations.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and model teamwork.
- Knowledge of New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) requirements.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Must be computer literate.

Exposure Control Classification:
- Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated due to tasks involving potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissue.

Customer Focus:
- Models and leads with principles ensuring safety, dignity, respect, and well-being, promoting healthy relationships.

Expected Skills and Certifications:
- New York State RN licensure is required.
- Basic Life Support certification through AHA or RQI is mandatory.
